Museums
Museums in San Sebastian and Region. In Donostia and vicinity (within 15 minutes drive) there are pretty museums.
San Telmo Museum is in the Old Town, in a building of the sixteenth century, a former Dominican convent which was also artillery barracks. You can find temporary and permanent exhibitions.
In the spectacular Aquarium, in the harbor, you’ll see sharks and stingrays from the acrylic tunnel or will touch some fishes.
In the Zientzi Museoa, with over 169 experimental modules, it is forbidden “not to touch it.” The Euskal Itsas Museoa (Naval Museum), small and beautiful, is in the port. Football supporters could visit the Museum of the Real Sociedad.
Nearby, you will find the Chillida Leku Museum, or the Cristobal Balenciaga Museum in Getaria, the Basque Cider Museum, Sagardoetxe, in Astigarraga, or the Cementos Rezola Museum in Añorga.
